quote of the day
|
|
What is needed is a realization that power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love... I know that love is ultimately the only answer to mankind's problems. And I'm going to talk about it everywhere I go. ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

| Visiting friends and friends visits |
Oct 25, 04 |
We went to visit Bill Wetzel and Liz Barry for brunch. Daddy cooked tofu. I liked the cat they were sitting. Afterwards we saw a lot of motorcycles, it was the memorial for Indian Larry.
We went to Madison Square Park to meet Carol, Paula and Mckenzie who''s a couple years older than me. On the way to the city, we sometimes see musicians in the subway playing the mandolin and the guitar.( I realy like to watch music, as long as it isn''t too loud. )
Susan Sumida came to visit us - we went to Central Park and had a picnic, where we bumped into Rebecca and Gilad. Mommy fed me in the park. She''s a lactivist. Also we went to Thompkin''s Square park, where we watched the Circus Amok.
Sarah Walton and Meena Jeenarain came by to visit on my 3 month birthday. Meena cooked kitri and taught Mommy how to make it just right.
I grew from 16 pounds to 18 1/2 pounds on the last month, learned to sit up on my own, and now I can do push-ups. So if you see me eating and sleeping a lot, that''s why!
Here''s a little video of me trying to crawl, but I couldn''t quite get it right. Maybe next month. And mom filmed me smiling in my sleep, I guess I was having good dreams.
